Code4Kids has free content as well as paid service that includes full access to curriculum aligned content, learner management, teacher professional development and more teacher and classroom resources.

It couldn’t be easier! No installs, all you need is a computer with a web browser (like the one you’re using to look at this website!) and an internet connection. 

Most basic laptops will work, anything from a Chromebook to Mac. If you are using a tablet, it will work, but we recommend an external keyboard for the best experience. You will need a basic internet connection (10Mbps is more than enough!).

One important thing, some schools might require you to let c4k.io through your school firewall. We're here to help if this is a problem.

Code4Kids requires no other hardware such as micro bits or any robotic devices. It’s all virtual, see our Drone course here.

All lessons are taught by teachers in the school classroom. 

Teachers are onboarded onto the Code4Kids platform and can enroll for free into the teacher training level 1 course. 

Students will then log onto the c4k.io platform to conduct their lessons, led by their teacher, through the Code4Kids curriculum.
